清水  愛　Ai Shimizu

Born in Kyoto in 1979. After graduating from university and worked at a corporation, she encountered the art of Urushi lacquer and started her artistic journey.

She engaged in restoration of lacquerware for 4 and a half years, after that she started her career as a Urushi lacquer artist.

She founded the Urushi lacquerware brand "urujyu" since 2015.
